The Beatles

 

February 9th, 1964 was a Sunday and I remember exactly where I was that night. I was in our living room with the rest of my family when Ed Sullivan first introduced The Beatles to America.

I remember reading a little bit about them in the newspaper and hearing some things on TV, but I really had no idea what to expect. After all, 1964 was way before internet and setlists. So I gathered around our new Magnavox console with my two brothers and my Mom and Dad and watched the beginning of a new dawn …
