"Something's happening here ...."
With all the space available on this crazy internet, there must be room for an angst filled, aging baby boomer like me to offer commentary on getting older, being young, having grandkids, being in love, and attempting to retire. Music, travel, wine, sports, my family and my past will all be frequent topics as I make my way through this website to that huge book deal I've been looking for.
This company doesn't exist ... yet. But at least it has a cheap logo for when it does open it's doors. I'm always trying to think of additional ways to make a living. Something fun, creative and stress free. I've considered a cafe, bar, record store, and hot dog cart on the beaches of Cancun.
I haven't hit on anything yet but perhaps an underlying reason for this blog is to learn more about web development. Who knows, maybe I can teach my son Patrick a few internet tricks someday.
Samantha and Claire became "the Girls" when Claire was born. They are not quite 2 years apart and are quickly learning about being sisters. They sure make it fun to be a Grandpa and will be frequent subjects here.
Most audiophiles believe that sound quality is compromised on the compact disc format and almost totally ruined on MP3's. I'm no audiophile but I agree with that. I'm not sure if I'm turning back the clock or setting it ahead by saying that vinyl music is better, but it is. Read more about records and music on the blog.
